Renamer.
MD Renamer is a simple yet effective application for tidying up the filenames of all files in a folder. This is particularily useful when downloading a series of files from the internet, where typically people replace spaces in the filenames with the underscore character or leave everything in lowercase. MD Renamer will attempt to automatically tidy the names, but with a little user intervention is literally able to save hours of renaming.
For example, a typical downloaded filename might be in the format:
01_-_MD_Multimedia_-_Intro_Track_[www.mdmultimedia.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk].mp3
This application will enable you to clean this filename and all of the similarily named files in a folder.
Minimum Specifications:
Pentium III 700Mhz or AMD Equivilent, 32Mb RAM, 10mb HD space for install, 800x600 Screen Resolution and the .NET framework 3.5 (free download, though this is normally already installed on fully updated Windows systems).
